what do men think about long courtship period?

i just happen to be extremely curious about this stuff lately. ngayon ko lang na-notice na karamihan ng suitors ko inabot ng almost a year sa panliligaw, well some of them talagang matigas lang ang ulo kahit tinatanggihan ko na. (to some) i always tell them na it takes time for me para ma-develop yung pwede ko maramdaman for them. pero di ako nagpapaasa ha, sinasabi ko kasi agad kung di ko gusto yung tao habang maaga. yung hinahayaan ko lang eh yung may possibilities na ma-fall ako..


now..my question is, ano iniisip or opinyon ng guys about this? or long courtship,perhaps? do most guys prefer the quicker ones kahit wala pa dun yung tinatawag na "feelings"?  hehe

 i will really, really appreciate your answers guys. i hope you have time for this one.

i personally understand kung bakit gusto ng mga babae ang long courtships kasi sinusubukan nila yung mga lalake and ayaw din nilang matawag na easy to get. but i really don't believe in long courtships kasi nobody knows what will happen talaga in the future, part talaga ng buhay yung masasaktan ka kaya kung umibig ka part yun ng risk. there is NO guarantee na porket matagal ang ligawan eh kayo na habang buhay o hindi kayo magbabago while in the relationship.

advise ko lang if you really like each other then get to know each other more and try to bring the very best from each other. kung ayaw talaga ng isang girl sa lalake wag nang paasahin pa at kung gusto naman then wag na masyadong pakipot baka mamaya magsawa yan at may makitang iba.

ang panliligaw kasi panahon pa ng kastila yan eh, you try to put your best foot forward so pakitang tao lang so mas maiigi na kilalanin muna ang bawat isa then go with the flow nalang...

i dont believe in courtship.

guys only tend to their best foot forward then sa relationship mo nakikita panget nilang ugali.

if i like him and he likes me at alam kong mauuwi rin naman sa pagiging mag-on eh go na bakit ko naman sasayangin oras namen 2? atleast if hinde nagworkout we can break up move on at makakilala ng bagong tao.

kesa magpaligaw ako ng taon tapos wala.
