I have a bf and we've been together for years. For past 2 years we're on long distance relationship. Kaso lang since the beginning ng relationship lage ako ang nagiinitiate ng lhat ng bagay. as in cmula ng naging kami di siya katulad ng ibang boyfriend na mahilig to shower their love ones with gifts and affection. Not naman na materialistic ako pero ever since kasi akona lang lage nagaayaya sa kanya na mag date kami, kumain kami sa ganito, nagigifts pag monthsary like that. Bakit kaya siya ganun ramdam ko yun na mahal nya ako pero. I can't help it na maiinggit sa ibang couples na may bf na thoughtful at di insensitive.

tapos lahat na lang ng promises ginawa sinabi na niya sakin at ni minsan wala pa natutupad dun para na akong tanga kc waiting for him to prove his promises. lalo na ngayon he has stable job na at he can provide everything. tapos one time nagpadala siya letter from abroad pinaabot niya sa kasama nya kinuha ko pero nawala sya. so kinukulit niya ako na kunin ko ulit sa office. sabi nya wag ko daw sabihin na sulat lang padala nya pag hinanap ko dun. sabihin ko daw gift un. sabi ko bakit. sabi niya kc corny daw kapag letter ang cnabi ko. and weird \kasi bakit ganun  sususlat tapos corny pala para sa kanya ang gulo talaga niya. pls help anu ba yun

just my opinion, pero I think your bf is a lil bit on the "non-affectionate" type. Don't misunderstand me when I say non-affectionate, hindi yun parehas ng hindi ka nya mahal. Pero by your description of him, he seems to be the one who takes things as they come, neither initiating nor showing any outward sign of affection.

Meron talaga ganun na guy, na they either think na its ok for them not to show affection or they think that their partner doesn't mind it.

Siguro the best way to go about the problem is to actually talk to him about it, ask him why and clearly tell him (of course in a "lambing" way) na you like for him to be affectionate towards you.

I already talked about himabout this. He always promise that he will change and do what ever makes me happy. As of now doesn't have improvement at all. Laging promises. Basta never ko lang talaga nafeel na babae ako na worth it to be special. Masyado lang ba ako emotional or talgang nakukulangan na ako sa relationship namin kc dati i never feel this way ngayn lang na magfifive years na kami. lage ako kasi naiingit sa mga girls na ganun ung bf. Why do I feel this way towards him?

so what will I do? kc lage syang nakokornihan sa mga pagiging affectionate. Ngayon ko lang narealize na hintay pantay ang pagpapahalaga namin sa isat' isa pero i love him. and i want this relationship to wok. Pero ngyn I dont know panu ko ito handle if he doesnt listen to my feelings

abroad sya eh.  He said na ako na daw priority niya this time, Kasi dati family niya lahat pinagtuunan niya ng panahon. Kaso everytime na umuuwi  siya di namn natutupad ung promises niya. Nung first time nga niyang uwi ni isang pirasong chocolate wala siyang pasalubong sakin eh. Nakaktampo nga un. Di ko nga akalaing ganun pala siya. Saka nagong snob siya nung nagkapera na siya.Then before siya makabalik abroad he has financial problems. At ako namn to the rescue. Tapos bumalik na namn siya ulit sa dati niyang ugali.Tapos ngayon nasa abroad siya dami na namn siya promises at alam mo ba I control myself to believe every thing that he promise. Bakit ganun feeling ko di na totoo yung mga cnasabi nya?

not to advocate anything bad or be the herald of doom, but siguro you need to cool off muna.

Sabi mo now you're having doubts about him in general, and he hasn't been living up to your expectation. Siguro if you guys cool off, both of you'd get to think about things and re-evaluate yourselves and see what position both of you are in.

It also removes any complacency that any of you may have.

Of course its not the easiest thing to do and I'm merely raising a point, in the end its still gonna be your call/decision on what you'd wanna do.
