Better to just hide your feeling.
Then you could just do creepy things like stalking them,calling them up, and then hanging up when they answer the phone etc.
Also you could like steal their under pants and sniff them etc.

If you are conservative but really like the guy, you can just provide little hints on how you feel about him. Unless he is numb or super dense like me, he will sense it. Just be yourself. How can saying what you feel be degrading for anyone? Isn't that an act of courage? To put yourself in a vulnerable position and say how you feel about someone?
