doubt

my boyfriend and i broke up.. we've been almost 1 year and 10 months.
i still love him.. we both facing lot of family problems his father was sick, and i regarding family obligations.
so we taught we need both space.. until one day we have to meet, he cried and says he dont want to lose me.. pero may pangangailangan dw xa bilang lalake .. he says "if my nangyayari satin hindi pa cguro tayo magkakahiwalay" i dont give wat he wanted hindi q p kasi kaya.. we're both 24 years old. . ive asked him if he still loves me he say yes.
and now we are friends with benefits.. pag kailangan q xa lagi nya aq sinasamahan sa dapat kong puntahan.
i want him back.. pero i cant give wat h e wanted.. anong ga2win q? he's not txting me not unless im the one whose going to do it first. we were in a long distance relationship.. after the break up i asked him kung meron n b xang iba.he said wla p, hindi p dw cla kasi naiisip p rin nya aq.. palagi n pati xang nag-iinom hindi q alam kung dun xa masaya or what.. nagyoyosi n rin xa pagksama aq n never nya ginwa dati Sad

Explain mo sa kanya kung bakit di mo ma ibigay yung pangangailangan nya, baka sakaling maintindihan kanya.
At isa pa po kung kung may pangangailangan sya bilang lalaki pwede rin naman syang mag mariang palad or yung isang option.
Sana naman marunong syang mag hintay..

Mabuti naman na hindi ka nya pinilit. Mukhang ginalang pa din naman nya ang decision mo. Hindi naman sya nagalit. Anyway it's within your right to decline kasi katawan mo naman yan. Kung tutuusin yung "friends with benefits" e mas applicable if you're both already doing it even if you're not officially bf-gf. Anyway, mukhang may dina-date na sya ngayon pero hindi pa sila? Siguro stressed out sya sa nabanggit mo na may sakit ang tatay nya at naghahanap sya ng comfort.
