Hope you could advise me on this one.

So, finally, I had the guts to confess my love for this girl. Sadly, she only wanted to be friends muna kasi hindi pa daw siya ready for a relationship and not sure how she feels for me. I told her if naoffend siya sa nasabi ko, I'll gladly distance myself from her but ayaw niya kasi ayaw niya mawala ako. Now I'm confident na my closest friends would not want to lose me but not to the point na magbeg. She begged me to stay and so I did but she seems to have changed. Parang unti-unting nawala closeness namin. She seems to avoiding me na. Somehow, I knew there was something fishy na. She told me this Tuesday di muna siya papaload kasi wala pa siyang sweldo. Di kami masyado nagkikita because busy sa work at ako medyo busy sa school. Well, I decided to test the waters and so I texted her using another number. Kunwari ba textmate. Guess what? Nagreply siya when she said di siya magpapaload. That was last night. Ang sakit lang kasi after niya sinabi di niya kaya mawala ako, ganyan lang trato sa akin. I want to confront her but not without advice first. What should I do and tell her? I told her pa naman I'll wait for her. She said she liked me lang though.

If a guy friend tell's a girl that he's in love with her and the girl say's "let's just be friends na muna", it means that she's open to the possibility of you having a relationship as more than friends but she's still weighing her willingness to commit into that relationship with you. Mahirap kasi to risk the possibilty of losing a good friend over just trying out if a relationship would work. There is that nagging question "would we still be friends if things don't work out?".

Maybe she just needs a little time to ponder things by herself. Ayaw ka din naman daw nyang mawala di ba? So it means na not communicating with you for the meantime is her way of threading slowly and safely through muddled water kumbaga. Just don't give up that easy. Help her make up her mind. Just be around and make her feel your presence but don't corner her into a decision. Sabi mo you're willing to wait di ba? Then have a little patience. After some reasonable time, ask her what she has decided. Let us know what happens then.
