Women like to be lied to and cheated on.
Usually they get angry if you actually tell them the truth.
Example
Q. How do I look in this new dress ?
possible answers
the truth : you look like a fucking christmas tree.
or the correct answer : you look beautiful.
If you tell a woman the truth, an argument will follow, it will turn into, why don't you love me ? , you think I am ugly etc.
So you just lie and tell her she looks beautiful.

Agree! Sometimes it is better to tell a 'white lie' than to have an argument...
