i know it was a big mistake
for us we took it at stake
to you it was just a story
for me it is the same history
a love that cannot be
for them that we didn't see
if we can just give it a try
i shouldn't have to cry
if we can just give it a chance
you shouldn't have to suffice
that little amount of time we shared together
for me it was like years for me to treasure forever
we may be friends like others
i will still be yours like no other
