Hmm.... Nice. I prefer military combat art. It's a "no style" combat fighting. Frequently used by trained combat soldiers during vietnam war. Fast, effective and extremely dangerous.

I don't think military style is a "no style" fighting, many military men(US and Philippines) have trained arnis and dumog(probably they are training JKD also). In my opinion the style you are referring to is an MMA package if not just an FMA.

Hmm...yes it follows JKD philosophy but it's not Eskrima style and MMA. It's simply hitting your opponent with maximum damage with little energy possible. The most powerful weapon here is your mind not your fists. It's purely for killing during hand to hand combat even women can use this.

I'll give you a preview, if you're in a real life battle, not in the ring, expect your opponent to be physically stronger than you. Having both of you with the same level of physical fitness is very rare in real life. I mean really rare. Usually if your opponent is intimidating, you'll run like hell but let's assume the worst situation here - fighting him face to face.

So in this situation you're the most disadvantage in terms of physical size and strength. So the best way to level the fight is to fight him using your mind. Remember, what your opponent does not know can kill him.   

How do you do that?

First is consider everything including the location. Ancient military fighters like the Spartans have always fought strong armies using their terrain, a good example of this is the Battle of Thermopylae or if you had watched the movie "300" that's the fight. Why? Because the terrain is a force multiplier. I can be 10 times stronger than my opponent regardless of what style he's using so long as the location is very familiar to me and I can use it to my advantage.

That's one of the philosophies of war: Confuse your enemy. The next step: Blind your enemy, so I'll use stealth as my next move. The reason being because 80% of human learning comes from our eyes so blinding him will give you an advantage. The next step is "hit him hard and hit him fast and hit him where he least expects it". So in this case I'll hit him at the back. In order to bring him down fast is I have to hit him on the vital points of his back namely the upper thoracic region, the back of the neck, top of the skull, kidney, achillies tendon, calf. If I want to kill him, I'll going to hit his sciatic nerve at the back.

So if you'll observe you have to have a knowledge of anatomy and since I'm a doctor on the class, it's very easy to me to detect those vital parts. In fact, I can even tell them all the weak spots of the human body but that would be cheating. Anyway, this is as far as I go. So it's true, even in battle, that no matter what style you use, the best way to defeat the enemy is through the mind but that's only for real life situation. The more knowledge you have, the better. As Ernie Baron said, "Knowledge is power".
